About the Program

The Berkeley Lab Onboarding Program was developed by a cross-functional team representing Berkeley Lab. This program is designed to provide new staff with access to resources and information that will help acclimate them and feel included in the Berkeley Lab community. This program also provides consistent information that reflects Berkeley Lab as a whole organization.  The program was developed  from February 2020 to November 2020 and the website was launched in April 2021.

The Onboarding Governance Team is a cross-functional group that meets quarterly to review any onboarding program, information updates and change requests found on this website and checklist.

The Onboarding Governance quarterly meetings are held each October, January, April, and July.
